These are some pictures of the newest member of our family. Her name is Ruby and she is a Chilean rose hair tarantula. Rocket and I picked her out at Petco on Friday. So far, she has been pretty shy, but sweet anyways. I hope I cna get some better pictures of her later- she was still a little weary of the camera.
This is a picture of the cricket that is fearing for its life. Ruby is behind it, trying to decide if she is hungry enough to eat the cricket. I think she did last night. The crickets have been nice to have around too, because they provide some lovely music for our home.
